The Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity (CCSRE) offers fellowships to full-time Stanford faculty members, outstanding Stanford advanced doctoral students who are in the writing stages of their dissertations as well as newly admitted doctoral students. These fellowships are intended to extend the pipeline of scholars working on issues of race and ethnicity and to bring diversity to all levels of the academy.

As part of our ongoing strategic planning process we are currently reassessing all of our programs. The Visiting Faculty Fellowship program will be on hiatus for the 2013-2014 academic year while this process takes place. We wish you all the best as you pursue other fellowship opportunities.

Since its inception in 2001, the Visiting Faculty Fellows program has brought outstanding scholars to Stanford University to expand and develop research and scholarship in the areas of race, ethnicity, and culture. Each cohort of fellow represented a highly selective group of scholars at different stages of their academic careers who shared an interest in researching issues of race and ethnicity.
