Research Institute Mentoring Award

Call for Nominations

AY 2025-2026

The Research Institute of CCSRE is dedicated to fostering vibrant intergenerational and interdisciplinary networks of outstanding scholars who are invested in the study and teaching of race, ethnicity, and inequality across disciplines. Central to our mission is graduate student mentoring, which cultivates a supportive and collaborative research community. Through mentorship, CCSRE faculty enhance graduate students’ research and teaching agendas, ensure that they thrive during their time at Stanford, and empower them to succeed in their professional careers.

We are thrilled to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025-2026 Research Institute Mentoring Award. This program aims to promote and reward CCSRE faculty affiliates for their investment in student success while solidifying mentorship as a core value of the CCSRE Research Institute.

The Research Institute Mentoring Award Program honors faculty members who have made exceptional and sustained contributions to the intellectual, creative, scholarly, and professional development of graduate students pursuing doctoral research related to race, ethnicity, and inequality. Faculty honorees have contributed to tangible growth and measurable success for the students they support.

Award recipients will be celebrated at the Research Institute Open House in Winter 2026. We look forward to highlighting the inspiring work of our faculty and the positive impact they make in shaping the future of research, scholarship, and community in these critical areas.
