Join African & African American studies for our 15th Annual St. Clair Drake Memorial Lecture: "Dissent: Speaking Up, Speaking Back, Speaking Black." This year's event features a panel conversation among highly celebrated journalists and activists who will explore matters of racial and gender justice, electoral organizing, and the politics of media activism.  Panelists include: Jemele Hill, former anchor of ESPN's SportsCenter, host of His & Hers, and contributor to TheUndefeated.com; Charlayne Hunter-Gault, award-winning journalist and special correspondent for PBS NewsHour and NPR; and DeJuana Thompson, founder of #WokeVote, Think Rubix, and former National African-American outreach director for the DNC.
