CCSRE Director Paula Moya Featured on "Philosophy Talk"

Earlier this month, Director Paula Moya was a featured guest of the podcast "Philosophy Talk" to discuss attempts to remove Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye from schools. The interview was part of the episode "Summer Reading List 2022: Banned Books Edition."

As noted by "Philosophy Talk," the American Library Association reports that last year a record 1,597 books were challenged or removed from libraries, schools, and universities - compared to 273 books in 2020. The podcast asks listeners to consider, Who decides which books get removed from school libraries?
