Highlights, Spotlights, and Showcases: sharing the latest research and achievements of RI affiliates
As a hub for interdisciplinary knowledge production and open dialogue on pressing issues of race, ethnicity, and inequality, the Research Institute (RI) is thrilled to showcase the diverse stakeholders and scholarly engagements that make it such a vibrant and collaborative space.
We invite you to contribute to our "Newsletter Highlights & Website Spotlights" and "Virtual Bookshelf" —two impact-driven initiatives designed to promote the research and achievements of our Research Institute affiliates across the broader CCSRE and Stanford communities.
Newsletter Highlights & Website Spotlights
We encourage affiliated faculty, students, and staff to submit their recent accomplishments online (link to form), including new articles, awards, student prizes, or CCSRE-relevant events. These updates will be featured in the Research Institute Highlights, a dedicated section of the weekly CCSRE Newsletter, as well as an Research Institute Spotlight on the CCSRE website.
Virtual Bookshelf
Eligible authors are also invited to submit their new books (link to form) for inclusion on the Virtual Bookshelf. This online collection showcases the latest scholarship on race, ethnicity, and inequality within the CCSRE and Stanford communities and serves as a key resource for selecting Faculty Research Fellows and titles for Chautauqua events. The Virtual Bookshelf is updated quarterly, with submission deadlines for the 2024-2025 academic year on December 1, 2024; March 1, 2025; June 1, 2025; and September 1, 2025.
Questions about your submission? Contact Kenia Blanco Alvarez, Research Institute Program Coordinator, at keniab [at] stanford.edu (keniab[at]stanford[dot]edu).
