Aatika Singh is a scholar and activist, working across practice, curation, research, and criticism. She is currently pursuing her PhD (Major) from the Department of Art and Art History & PhD (Minor) from the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity at Stanford University. She is the current coordinator of the South Asia Working Group. She researches the philosophical and political connections of aesthetics to Dalit cultural history and assertion. Her doctoral project analyses the defacement of Ambedkarite iconography, its amalgam with legality and the intervention of critical caste studies. She finished her master's from the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2022. She is passionate about third world solidarities, emotional labour, and subaltern philosophy.
