Project title: Sanctuary in Motion: Design and Storytelling with the Festival of Latin American Contemporary Choreographers
Project description: My project supported the Festival of Latin American Contemporary Choreographers (FLACC), a San Francisco–based festival that uplifts Latine and Indigenous voices in contemporary dance. Through writing, design, and archival storytelling, I created a blog post, fundraising zine, and festival posters highlighting the last decade of FLACC’s history and the 2025 theme, Sanctuary. Drawing from recorded performances, artist panels, and community events, the project explored how art can serve as both refuge and resistance. Ultimately, I aimed to foster public engagement, strengthen fundraising efforts, and honor the creative sanctuary FLACC has built for its artists and audiences alike.
