Project description: This project investigates how Latin American Institutes of Agroecology (IALAs) build solidarity for their agricultural movement across multiple nations in Latin America through constructivist pedagogy. Focusing on IALA Sebradoras de Esperanzas (Sowers of Hope), a women-only institution located in Chile, the project looks at the processes by which Sembradoras de Esperanzas engages local peasant and indigenous communities in the co-construction of curriculum and educational goals.
