Kenia Blanco Álvarez
Research Institute Coordinator
Kenia is the Research Institute Coordinator at the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. As the Coordinator, she is responsible for general administrative duties central to the day-to-day operations of the Research Institute, as well as, planning and executing the Center’s events.
Kenia was born at Stanford Hospital; She grew up in Mexico and returned to the U.S. at age thirteen. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California-Merced. Kenia strives to work in higher education where she can continue promoting inclusive and equitable spaces for diverse students, especially underrepresented students, to support their unique educational journey.
