Madihah Akhter

Madihah Akhter (PhD, Stanford University) is a lecturer in Global Studies, Comparative Studies in Race & Ethnicity, and History. She is interested in modern history, namely themes of nationalism, anti-colonialism, gender, and migration. Her research has looked at women's leadership in the Global South and her teaching has spanned a number of topics, including South Asian global migration and diaspora communities, the Partitions of India and Palestine, gender in global perspective, and Transhistory. Madihah is also a product inclusion specialist and diversity, equity, and inclusion consultant.
