Michelle Dinh
Associate Director, Asian American Studies

Thaomi Michelle Dinh is the Associate Director of Asian American Studies. She teaches courses and conducts research on cultural studies and sexual violence. Her work has been published in the Journal of Asian American Studies, The Margins, Amerasia, and the International Examiner. She enjoys working with undergraduate students, especially first-generation students of color like herself, and is excited about engaging with communities outside of academic spaces.

Prior to Stanford, Michelle was an American Council of Learned Societies Emerging Voices Fellow at the University of Chicago. She earned her PhD in English from the University of Washington.
