This project analyzes interminority racism and its influence by media and AI, in the context of anti-blackness and “Asian hate”. We will collect a comprehensive set of news articles and social media posts covering violent incidents related to racial unrest, analyze the role of the media and AI recommendation systems in exacerbating racial animosity and mistrust, and execute an outreach program to educate the broader community.
