Creating an Inclusive Campus: Meeting the Needs of Stanford Student Parents

Abstract 

This research project will bring Stanford student families together to share their experiences andhopes for the future. The research highlights an apparent need for systemic reforms to support student parents.Higher education institutions and government programs must work together to provide flexibleacademic structures, robust childcare options, and financial aid tailored to the unique needs ofparenting students. Without these changes, student parents will continue to face significantbarriers to completing their education, perpetuating inequities in access and opportunity.
