Faith Kwon

Faith Kwon is a PhD candidate in the Graduate School of Education studying Race, Inequality, and Language in Education (RILE), Teacher Education, and Math Education. She holds an MA in Education and a BA in Psychology and Educational Studies. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she served as a district professional developer, instructional coach, and primary grades teacher for Ravenswood City School District in East Palo Alto, CA. Faith's research interests include exploring humanizing support for teachers with marginalized identities, and examining mutually humanizing classroom spaces. At Stanford, Faith is also engaged in research with the Stanford Identity, Engagement, and Learning Lab (StlELL) and teaches in the Stanford Teacher Education Program (STEP).
