Raquel Navarro Calara
Raquel Navarro Calara (she/they) is the Administrative Associate and Academic Programs Coordinator at the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. Raquel's role at CCSRE is to provide logistical, administrative, and innovative support to the Academic Programs team.
As a first-generation graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, Raquel has cultivated a passion for higher education accessibility and the role public policy impacts educational equity. She is committed to supporting underrepresented students for their success and advancement and striving towards an equitable system where all can thrive. Prior to Stanford, Raquel has supported first generation, low income, and BIPOC students throughout the Bay Area as an advisor with non-profit organizations.
